Okay, so I am back! :D Well, I've been back since Sunday night, but busy hanging out with Jen (:D) so I haven't really had much time to myself yet. XD I'm not caught up on LJ or RP at all, but I'll try to do that tonight. Yesterday after I dropped Jen off at the airport I rushed back home and mailed off her phone (I made it into the post office just before it closed at 7) and then started some laundry and had some dinner before putting most of the stuff I'd brought with from IL away and setting up my coffee table. :D It'll be a bit weird not having that floor space in front of my couch anymore, but I can always move it easily if someone wants to sit there. Heroes is over for the season, anyway, so no more tons of people sprawling on my floor for a while. XD
Then Elizabeth called and ahaha, I hadn't checked my email but people were going to see Wolverine, so I hopped in the car and went to do that. It was actually pretty good; they didn't screw over canon too badly in any way that really bothered me, and the story was good as well! (Maybe more on it later, but that's all I have brainpower to say for now. XD) Then this morning I reserved a Disney hotel (but no tea, it's totally booked up this weekend like I thought it might be; ah well, we can do Downtown Disney instead) and I picked up my contacts at the UPS depot before heading in to work (it's break week so I could park on campus!).
( A bit of Anime Boston-related cosplay babble here. )
AND I have The Last Olympian (I totally bought it yesterday at the Borders in the airport XD) but if I get to actually crack the thing open before I get back from Boston/Europe/etc., I'd be a bit surprised. D: But that's okay. The longer I put it off, the longer the series lasts! Right? :D;
Anyway, road trip pictures, etc. later (or you can just read Jen's account, it'll probably be way more interesting than mine!) and I'm going to try to get something useful that's work-related done today. Maybe. (At least I've got plenty done already, even if it's not work-related? I think astronomy might just not actually happen again until June.)
--
EDIT: Also, while I was picking up my package, the guy at UPS had the radio on and the announcer was like, "Hey, Star Trek opens this week! 10% of fans who are going to see it are going to dress up in costume! Watch out for Vulcans, everyone!" I was kind of amused. XDD Though I admit I'm totally wearing a Trek shirt. tomorrow. ;D

Okay, so here are the amassed pictures! Some of these are mine and some are Dan's~ We only went on Saturday and only for a couple of hours at that, but while we didn't do anything massively exciting (other than getting Ando to make THE FACE at us XDD), I still had a really good time.

Aaand, totally unrelated, but I finished my BeVin gift exhange today! If anyone wants to see the wackiest, dumbest action figure crossover comic ever, feel free to click here! :D; XDDD It gets the "so awesome it goes to 11" tag! WIN!

Whew! So Megacon was lots of fun, and pretty chill.
( Mini Con Report below! )
I got home around 9-ish last night, so not too late, except my neighbors were being unGodly loud. I managed to watch the extra ep of Invisible Man they put on the DVDs (which was LOLtastic) with the volume turned way up while I ate dinner and then I decided I was tired and I wanted to go to bed. I retreated into my bedroom (where I could still hear the music, mind), and lo, when I worked up the nerve to call them and ask them to turn it down, there was no answer. >> (I bet he couldn't even hear his phone over the noise.) I considered calling the police to tell them to shut up, but it was a Saturday night and it sounded like they were having a party or something. I figured I would try to sleep for a bit and apparently I was tired enough that I fell asleep even with the music that loud, though I kept waking up (especially when there was this racket like they were... dragging something heavy across their kitchen floor? WTF?).
Finally around 4 I think they stopped and I fell asleep for good, though there was this thunderstorm in the morning (I don't know when XD) that woke me up again but then I just went back to sleep and I swear I tried to get up a couple of times but I kept falling asleep until maybe around 12:30. Then I managed to get up and I CLEANED (because I hadn't in about two weeks, eheh~), so now my apartment is vacuumed and (mostly) dusted and it is nice. :D Then I ate lunch and watched Dadnapped, which was cute and totally different than I'd envisioned, and... obviously I must have puttered around a bit and here I am. XD
Oh! But I kind of have a dilemma, so I figured I would put forth the question to my flist. The next con I'm going to is FX Show in April, and I am currently torn between two costume options. So! I'm actually going to use my paid member privileges and have a poll! (Fancy~)
Option 1: Ben 10 (the 10 year-old version, I don't think I look boy-like enough to pull off 15 year-old Ben though I still want his jacket XD)
Option 2: Dru Saturday
Poll #1357965 FX Show Costume!
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All
EDIT: Also, I realize that absolutely no one on my flist watches either of these shows. So you can just vote for whoever you think looks cooler, or whoever looks like they might suit me better? If you feel like it, of course. :D;

Ah, the things I overhear at work. XD;
So yesterday I was reminded (again) of why I have to leave work early if I want to go to the gym - if I get there at 4:30, there are a couple of bikes and/or treadmills open. If I get there at 5, there is nothing open. Apparently even if I get there at 5:30, still nothing open. Come on, people, break your New Years resolutions so I can have the chance to work out! I want to be Padme in a month!
I was in a bit of a rush, since Scott had invited me out to dinner with him and Tiffany and Nathan at 6:30, so I just came home and changed back into my regular clothes and put together my sewing mannequin (:D) and talked to Jen until they called. We went to this Chinese buffet that's literally two minutes from my apartment, and yet I never knew it was there. XD; It was pretty yummy, and we actually sat there and talked so long that Tiff and I went back for more dessert and by the time it hit 10 and we were the only people left there, we figured it might be time to go. XD;;;
And then today we went to see Inkheart, which was really good~ (And I finally got to see the Half-Blood Prince trailer!) I'd meant to get up at a reasonable hour (i.e., in the morning) to work out and get some cleaning done, but I changed the alarm noise and apparently this one is something I can sleep right through. I kept waking up to find it had already been going off for a while. So I didn't get up until 1 or so, and the movie was at 2:30 so really all I had time to do was shower and eat and watch about 20 minutes of The Incredibles on TV before I had to head to the theater. Afterwards I went to the mall with the vague hope that I might find someone who sold Converses so I could at least try some on to figure out what size I wear. The first few places didn't carry them, and no one was being helpful in Foot Locker (and they only had black anyway); Sears had them in kids' sizes but only in pink, so while I could try some on they didn't have the right color. But then! I hit Kids Foot Locker, and LO! RED CONVERSES IN MY SIZE FOR $25. AHAHAHA. Sometimes being able to wear children's shoes is a very, very good thing. I was not going to pay $44 for a pair of shoesthat did not have wheels in them or something.
I also could not stop myself from buying this scarf at Hot Topic. It has GIR on it and it is adorable. I think that thing that most girls have for shoes, I have it for scarves. Or something. XD
Also, last night I found Gwen's belt on eBay for CHEAP. And they're willing to mail it to the US! Here's hoping I win that auction! I was not going to pay the $40 or whatever that one other person with it I found was going to charge. Not for a belt. D:

I don't want to work today, and it's only Tuesday. ;_; I'm really tired, though - I couldn't fall asleep last night for some reason, so I laid in bed until at least 4am wishing that I was asleep. :x
Been working on Bad Girl; the sleeves are attached, which is a major accomplishment since it somehow took me more tries than it should have. XD Tonight is the ruffles on the collar and maybe the lacing up the back. Then I need to re-cut out a few pieces for the skirt (ahaha, the problem with striped fabric is that if you want the stripes to all be vertical, you can't cut out a circle skirt in one piece. I know this now. XD) and figure out how to make it stand out like hers does. I'm thinking either interfacing, boning, or a petticoat, the latter of which would be easiest but the least accurate since she doesn't wear one. Jennie, any preferences? I think I mentioned this to you before, and you were okay with a petticoat? You might be able to pick one up at Goodwill or something down by you if that's the case, but I could also look for one or just make it. Otherwise I'll experiment with other ways to make her skirt defy gravity. XD;
I think for Megacon, I'm going to make Gwen (Cooper) and possibly Padme... I really, really want to be Ahsoka but I'm still stumped on how to make her headtails. I'm thinking some kind of lightweight base, then fabric covered with liquid latex? I've never worked with liquid latex before, I don't know if it'll do what I'm envisioning anyway. I've been poking around a couple Star Wars costuming sites for ideas, but I haven't looked really seriously. Maybe I should start. XD; FX Show is really late this year, maybe I could get her done for that.
I feel horrible that there aren't any anime costumes I'm dying to make. D: Maybe Anya? Or older!Setsuna? I'm not into any series too hardcore at the moment, fail~
Also, I have started thinking in Mando. Just phrases here or there, but I'm so doing it. This can't be a good sign. XD
Okay. I suppose I should get back to work now. Time to read some papers on how to analyze Spitzer data! Please don't be hard to do. D:

It appears that the only new show I get tonight is Clone Wars - Zack and Cody and The Secret Saturdays are reruns. I think even Phineas and Ferb is a rerun. I guess I'll make dinner early and finish Attack of the Clones or something. :D; Boo, new year messing up my Friday night schedule! Hm. Maybe I'll post chapter 2 of A Chuisle; it feels so weird to be posting fic before dark. XD; (Though it's gotten dark by the time I finished this entry, so nevermind. XD;) And I really, really need to get that scifi flash fiction thing done before the 15th. I'm going to enter this contest, darnit! And < 500 words means there doesn't have to be a real plot... right? XD;
I picked Scott up this morning to take him to pick up his rental car and get his key so I can watch Nozimi. I got breakfast at Metropolitan Bagel (yum!) and managed to get the first (of a couple XD) boxes out to Valerie~ The girl at the post office did not appear to be very excited to be there. D: Ah well~ I also went running today! XD I don't run so much anymore (my mom yelled at me a lot about it, she's afraid I'll break my knees) but it was nice - the weather was beautiful today. And I even cut out the rest of the dress fabric for Jennie's Bad Girl - it's actually going to be really easy to make, I'm just paranoid about it fitting so I have a million measurements and I can only hope. :D;; At least the back laces up, which gives her some leeway. And Jennie, I'm going to try to get it done sooner rather than later, and then I'll mail it to you and you can try it on and if it needs fixing, you can send it back or I can instruct you!
I also need to look up when Megacon and FX Show are... I think Mega is actually before FX this year, or at least that FX is really late, in March or something. I am thinking I might try to get Padme done for one of those, though, given how OMGSTARWARS I am at the moment. :D;; Actually, I would LOVE to get Ahsoka done... I'm already envisioning how I'm going to use my favorite subtstance evar (Heat N' Bond FTW!) for the fancy thing on the front of her skirt. XD; I won't have Jennie's airbrush, but there are other ways to turn oneself orange~ Plus, I <3 Ahsoka. But in the meantime, I am having a hell of a time tracking down one of the droid blasters for Episode II Padme. :x I suppose I will just have to keep a sharp eye on eBay. Or maybe I could paint one of the General Grevious blasters... though those are out of stock everywhere I've looked, too.
... Okay, that's it. I think I give in. I am going to make a "costumes" tag. XD; And then just fail at going back and tagging ALL of my previous entries involving costumes. Because I am sure there are far too many. >>;
Happy Friday? :D;

And the obligatory Dragon*Con post! I'm sorry I haven't been around, but I got back from D*C and immediately died (i.e., got sick) so I've been kind of out of it for the past few days. Yesterday I slept most of the day, and had a lot of really weird DS9- and Enterprise-related dreams. That didn't feature Trip nearly enough, I say. XD;
ANYWAY. D*C was, of course, a lot of fun~ We did so much it'd be impossible to recount it all, and I'm sure no one wants to hear it anyway. But we got to meet lots of cool people and hang out with a bunch of friends and trek around in fun costumes and it was good~ We did a couple of panels: Torchwood, DS9, Firefly, Robert Picardo, and Ethan Phillips; we also finally got to go to the Miss Klingon Empire Beauty Pageant, which was rather fantastic. XD Plus there was the parade, the Shindig, and the Yule Ball~
Oh, but I do have one funny story! So we were sitting in the DS9 panel and someone asked the actors if they'd ever read the books, and wanted to suggest one for them to read. She said something to the effect of "I recommend Fallen Heroes, that was the best DS9 book by far." Of course, Valerie and I both immediately say "Oh, yeah! That one was the best!" and Dan just turns to us and says "Oh my God, you guys are so lame." XD But it really was a good book!
There really were a lot of funny stories, though~ Including Alan Tudyk's scripts he was always trying to pitch to Joss, a couple of very amusing stage kisses, and a number of stories recounting forgotten lines (apparently every time Chakotay takes a "sip" of coffee his lines are in the bottom of the cup, or they were on the armrest of his chair XD) and tales of trying to make Tim Russ crack up while reciting lines).
And so with no further ado, I give you about half a million pictures~ You have been warned - image-heavy!

First off, an AFO preview pic. I haven't gotten everything resized yet, but this picture makes me go XD so you all have to see it too~

I found a Lockonnnnnnnn~
Erm. :D; Anyway, I really will resize the rest of the pix and post a report-ish thing, just not tonight because Norton really wanted to run a full system scan and that makes e-ver-y-thing run sloooooow. In the meantime, I managed to resize two other pictures - my progress thus far on Pippi Longstocking, which I started last night when I got home from AFO. XD;
( Not bad for only a couple hours' work, so far? :D; )
Um. Other than working on that, not much new. Been meaning to work on my PJO fic or my app for the Camp Half-Blood RP, but failing at that a bit because of costuming getting in the way. ^^; I did get to watch Ella Enchanted on Disney tonight while patterning Pippi's apron, though~ I love that movie. XD It was such a cute book~ I finished re-reading The Titan's Curse and decided to forego re-reading The Battle of the Labyrinth because I have just read it, so I started Artemis Fowl instead, which is proving rather entertaining thus far.
NGN starts up again this week, much yay for that, even if it does take away a sewing night. And we can start up anime nights after Dragon*Con and finish Gundam SEED, woo~ (Well, not that I haven't seen the end, but Diana and Scott haven't!) AND Jen and I finalized our Disney Halloween plans, so YAY I'M SO EXCITED SHE'S GOING TO COME VISIT ME. :D Looks like I get to be Ron Stoppable again this year, though I don't think that's going to keep me from making Peter Pan for... uh, something. XD; Because I really need to make a Peter Pan costume. Really.

AND Jen and I finalized our Disney Halloween plans, so YAY I'M SO EXCITED SHE'S GOING TO COME VISIT ME. :D Looks like I get to be Ron Stoppable again this year, though I don't think that's going to keep me from making Peter Pan for... uh, something. XD; Because I really need to make a Peter Pan costume. Really.

So! Uh. Today was pretty productive, kind of? I was on the roster for closet clean-out duty for an hour with Jorge - they're trying to scrape up as much office space as possible because there is no room in the Astronomy department, so they're cleaning out anything and everything that they don't need. Apparently there was a LOT of junk sitting around. So that was an hour of sorting papers and whatnot, but it wasn't hard and it went pretty quickly~ Then I actually got to meet with Vicki, and I get to start dealing with Chandra data soon, which is a little scary but it looks like I can use SExtractor, so that's promising?
Then I came home and ate and immediately went out to get a flask for Lucy - I found something close at Michael's for a dollar, yay! - and then I got fabric for Pippi, which was a bit more expensive than I'd hoped, but not too bad overall (about $40). Then I decided to go see Hellboy II. :D; I was one of probably five people in the theater, alas, but it was actually a pretty good movie. I mean, it's Hellboy so of course it's going to be campy, but it was fun campy even if the plot was a bit see-through. I guess that's kind of what you get from comic book-based things, though, especially when they're like Hellboy. Things you forgive in comics seem a little more obvious in movies. But yeah, it was good, and points every time he gets to use the prehensile tail~ (I'm dumb. XD)
And then I came home and packed for AFO, which is going to be uber low-key but should be fun nonetheless, and involve as little walking in high heels as possible~ XD But I get to wear C.C. again, and I'm bringing Tenma, Setsuna, and Mulan as well. So hopefully I'll get pictures of the latter two, becasuse I have NONE. So I will be gone most of the weekend, leaving tomorrow afternoon and getting back Sunday night. Geez, I'm home for a week and I have to turn around and leave again. XD; Such is my life~ And I get to leave again in - OMG - two weeks for Dragon*Con. At least most of the time my grandma is visiting we'll be here. Now I just have to find a Sashi-sitter, because everyone I might normally ask is leaving! At least I got the rest of the wigs I needed, for about $10 apiece, which is very yay~ And Lucy's shoes arrived today! That was hella fast, but definitely no complaints here. :D
And for the rest of the night I may try to get a bit of writing done, or work on an app for the PJO RP I found. Because as soon as I realized it existed, a nymph and a half-blood decided to show up and demand attention. Geez. XD; But I am excited nonetheless~ Now to decide the half-blood's parentage... I was thinking Aphrodite, but I'm not so sure about that unless it was an atypical Aphrodite kid, which kind of defeats the purpose... Maybe Apollo. Or a scrawny Hepaestus kid. XD; That could be cute~ I keep picturing some weird mix between Alby and Nico. And I want to name him Xander. :D;
::shuts up now!::
Oh! But I forgot to mention the other day, but I have an amusing astronomy story. :D; When the new postdoc was moving stuff in, he asked me what our general hours were. So basically I said something like, "Well, most of us are here from 10 or 11 until 5 at least." And he said, "Ah, so you're morning people then." |D Ah, I love astronomers. Apparently I should no longer feel bad about showing up at 11.Well okay except I should. But I really did not want to get up today. :x
And now this song is stuck in my head. I suppose it's better than "Carrying the Banner" though. Man, that has been stuck in my head for days.

SO here are some pictures from Metrocon, as well as of my C.C. costume. No links this time, just a cut, so, um, slightly picture-heavy. :D;
( Onward to the pictures! )
Whew, tired now! Gonna try to get out some tags before I head to bed. Ahhhh but I want to write more of my PJO fic. Guh, I think that might not happen 'till we're on the road and I'm bored, or possibly not until I get back.

Woo, Multidrizzling. Ah, the familiarity of a fruitless task. XD; I have apparently totally filled up my backup external harddrive. I have no idea how I did that already. o.O; I suppose I should go through and delete stuff...
Apologies (if they're in order, I suppose, though it's likely they're not?) for totally falling off the face of the earth. Last week was rounded out by finishing C.C. and heading off to Metrocon Friday through Sunday. It was a lot of fun, mostly just hanging out with Diana, Karen, and Monique. It was pretty chill, and the major plus was getting a staff badge in exchance for working the costume contest on Saturday (which saved me 65 bucks, which was major yay in light of this Very Expensive Trip I'm taking in a few days XD). I actually had quite a bit of fun helping out, so maybe I'll do it next year, too~ I mean, what's better than sitting around as C.C., eating Pizza Hut and trying to keep obnoxious drunk guys from leering at the underage girls? (Okay, well, you could take the obnoxious drunk guys out. There was some other event taking place at the convention center on Saturday as well, and there were drunk people all over the place. No, you cannot touch my hair, no, you cannot have my food, please go away and stop bothering us. :x) At least the guy helping me man the door, Chris, was pretty awesome too. And we kind of matched, since he was Hijikata from Gintama. Black costumes with gold bias tape FTW!
I really wanted to post some pictures of C.C., but alas I did not get any. I took ONE whole picture during the con, of a Lelouch staring angstily at my Lelouch plushie. XD; At least that was awesome. PLUS OMG. Diana is awesome. Because now I have Mickey and Jack Harkness on my desk. XD It's officially a party.Not to mention Luke Skywalker is trying to take out the Empy Child on top of the bookcase. She brought them back for me from AX, plus the holy-crap-so-awesome Tardis USB hub. XD I totally coveted that thing, I'm so excited~ Though I think that one may have to stay at home where I have more use for it.
Anyway, I've been djfafjaifaof-ing busy, trying to get my D*C costumes started before I leave for two weeks starting Saturday. I have Lucy fabric and the underdress is mostly done, and the outer skirt can probably get finished tonight. More on that later, I think. Plus I have a bunch of RP stuff to catch up on, and I'd like to get tags out tonight where I owe them in the HP-verse and such. And Jesse and Scott are coming over tonight to watch Cool Hand Luke. Because everybody needs to see that movie.
Speaking of movies, there are a whole bunch I want to see.
skuldchan, are you interested in seeing either Hellboy 2 or X-Files while I'm out in LA? I'm guessing that without Valerie, I'm going to have to go see Kit Kitteridge on my own. :D;
I really need a costumes tag. I think I'm just afraid to go back through ALL my previous entries and apply it, because I bet I have a billion entries that would need tagging. D:
HEY WAIT. Someone moved my action figures around. XD Win. Though I'm not sure exactly what Ron is planning to do to Mal... >>; Aw, it's almost like having Valerie back.

... Well. I've never been threatened with bombing before. ff.net, you're kind of special.
ANYWAY. This is actually about Dragon*Con - to any and all of my D*C going friends, I have two friends (Lauren and Gary, both Astronomy undergrads and nice people :D) who are looking for a room at the con. Our room is full, but if any of you going have room for two more people, could you please let me know? I can put you in contact with them and you can decide from there. Like I said, they're both nice and very cool~ Thanks! :D
Woo, Multidrizzling. Someday I'm going to be done with you and then I won't know what to do with my life.

Satoko's only a little evil...
This was just an awesome shot XD

A step up from the Kimmunicator...
Scott is badass with a sonic screwdriver.

First off, Happy Birthday Destra! :D <333 I hope it is a lovely one~
Secondly, thank you to Rachel for the postcard! :D I really love getting them from you~
Thirdly, I have a sonic screwdriver~ WHEE~ It is shiny. XD
I also have an Exia~ Which needs to be put together.Gundaaaaam! And a chibi j-mini Lavi (of the D.Gray-man persuasion) because they came in boxes but ALL of them were just so darned cute that I didn't care which one I got. He can now hang out with Ryoma, Tezuka, and Ryoma. :D; (OhmyGod, have I mentioned lately how CUTE that Christmas Ryoma is? XD Because he is~ /random)
Anyway, abbreviated con report: Diana and I drove down yesterday afternoon, found Lindsay for some pictures and chatting, then headed back to the hotel for food and two episodes of Doctor Who (followed by literally hours of discussion, haa). Then today we headed over and met up with Scott to cruise the dealers room and watch a bit of the costume contest, then headed on back in the evening. I got to wear Satoko, Setsuna, and Ron Stoppable; amazingly, Setsuna got some love! Maybe... six people knew who I was? XD It was exciting. Alas, despite the fact that other people took pictures of me in it, I didn't get any of me in it. XD; I'll either throw it on again at some point (easycomfy costumes are so yay) or I'll make sure to get some at AB. Or both. :D;
Andand, my Gundam Seed Collection II is here, woo! We get to watch it on DVD this week, FTW!
Also, triple-super-duper-score, my LJ billing cycle is up and I got five new icon slots out of it!Now to fill the other four...
Well, okay, bed first. Am tired. =_=
I so want to be Baby!Ten for D*C. XD With the bunny slipper and all. XD Or maybe Gwen.Not Baby!Gwen though, she just wears a diaper. XD Maybe both. Heh.

IIIIIIIIIIII~ Met Matt Parkman~~~ :D (Well, okay, his name is Greg somethingorother Grunberg. BUT. MATT PARKMAN. XD)
And that Nathan Fillion guy. XD (Can I just say he is doubly good-looking in person?) When I mentioned we were astronomers, he was all, "Do you use a green laser pointer to point out stars?" Apparently he has one too, and it amuses him just as much as it amuses us. XD That was pretty damn awesome.
So! Haha, today was FXShow; Valerie and Dan and I left at very early o'clock (well, 8) and it still took us until about 10:30 to get there, but that wasn't so bad~ We actually hopped into line for autographs first thing, since they were short. I got Nathan Fillion and Greg Grunberg and got to stand in line with Dan to get George Takei's so we could take pictures. (I actually have a picture of me and Valerie with Greg Grunberg, but it's on Dan's camera. And they wouldn't let us take pictures with Nathan Fillion, sad. D:) All of them were *really* nice~ And Nathan liked Valerie's booklet she made, about Nathan Fillion and the hurricane Nate. XD "Ooh, look, there I am." "Was it a devastating yet handsome storm?"
Then we went to the Heroes Panel~ Which was really very amusing. George Takei is great at relating stories, and Greg Grunberg is so hilariously snarky. XD (Apparently now his nickname is "Agent Hottie." Oh, fangirls~) And Stephen Tobolowsky (i.e., Bob XD) had some really great answers to questions too~ They were all great. There was a question about which superpower they'd want to have, and Greg was like, "I want super metabolism! I want to fly around with a big "C" on my chest and eat all the carbs I want!" XDDD
Then we shopped around and bought lots of cool stuff, and ended up going to Downtown Disney since the day was still somewhat young. Except I was still dressed as Kaylee, whee~ XD
The rest of the pictures, though there are a lot of repeats and nothing too exciting. ^^;

Yay, the AFO report! I'll keep it short and simple, because really, AFO consisted mostly of hanging out and talking to people and missing the events because of said talking. ^^; We did go to Opening Ceremonies and the checkers match, as well as part of the Cosplay Contest, but I think that was all we made it to, other than the Ouran Panel (which was very warm but there was tea~!). I met some of Daisy and Diana's friends, Lindsay and Darcy (I hope I'm spelling that right :O), who are both utterly, utterly awesome. Hanging out with Daisy, Diana, Darcy, Lindsay, and Persimmon is what made the weekend fun! I took a whole bunch of pictures (all of us XD) and got to run around as Keiichi and Harry Potter and Haruhi and there was much fun~ Also, would you believe I wasn't Ryoma once the whole weekend? :O I blame Higurashi for that. ^^;
... Yeah. I said it'd be short. :D; Anyway!
Because I am feeling daring (or, er, something), I'm going to actually put the pictures in the post instead of linking to them. So there are a lot of pictures coming up. Therefore, a cut:
