So lately Sashi has been finicky about using her litter box. At first it was just annoying, but then I got paranoid, and so I called and the vet managed to squeeze her in today. So now she's on antibiotics for a possible infection, which I really really hope it is, because the alternative is a kidney problem and while I know that's probably how she's going to go, I really think it should be a very long time from now. :x BUT at least she's on medicine, and Scott is my freaking HERO for agreeing to come over here twice a day and give it to her for the next week and a half. The labwork from the vet should be back in a couple of days and at least they can call me, and hopefully things will be straightforward.
I feel really bad I didn't go down to Orlando with Jesse to pick up Valerie, but my mom said I would feel a lot better if I just stayed with Sashi tonight and that's really pretty true. >>; She's acting fine, so she's probably like, "STOP PAYING ALL THIS ATTENTION TO ME" XD; but still, I feel better being able to keep an eye on her for one more night. Actually, she used the litterbox after we got home, so I was very proud of her! Hopefully my sewing room won't be a disaster area by the time I get back. ^^;
Guh. Of course life falls apart two days before I leave for California, right? Ah well. The freaking out has stopped for the most part. I am going to be such a wreck, someday.
Um. In other news, we are leaving for our Road Trip of Awesomeness to Reach LA in the morning. Late morning, probably, since I think we're not packing everything into the minivan until the morning. But I'm really looking forward to it, minor episodes of panic involving my cat aside. :D; We get to hit up the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam and Vegas on the way, and I get to visit my awesome friends who live out in LA. Woo~ I'll definitely be keeping journal entries and pictures and stuffs.
Luff for all my friends, because everyone needs luff! <3 I haven't been around much because I've been going and going with no end in sight, but I swear hopefully things will slow down a little after the next few weeks. They'd better, because I really need a break. Explody Ali-chan is good for no one! (Well... I don't think so, anyway? XD)
I probably had more to say, but I'm exhausted and hungry. I'm going to go make dinner

Anyway, I'm sure she'll be fine! Enjoy your trip cuz I'm ungodly jealous that you get to go to Vegas and I'm not. At least get me some Starbucks Mugs if ya can and I'll pay ya back. I think I got a Phoenix one and a def a Vegas one...but give me a call if you end up at one and are not sure. I'll <3 u forever I promise!!!
And we've already been to Hoover Dam - I remember those mountains were INSANE to drive through - like hanging off a friggin' cliff, I was so scared - so don't die.
Oh and how are you getting BACK from LA?
No problem, I already told them we'd have to make some Starbucks stops to get mugs! We'll be in Dallas and they should have them, and maybe they'll have them around the Grand Canyon, too. You already have one from LA, right? I'll definitely check wherever we go! (Haha, I have my friend visiting Japan getting me mugs wherever she goes, too. She says they tend to look at her funny when she just gets a mug and no coffee! XD)
Yeah, those were scary mountains! I will be driving SLOWLY. D: Death bad! But I'm excited to see Hoover Dam again. It was pretty cool. And I'm sure you'll hit up Vegas sometime when I don't get to go! I'm just glad we're going now, because they're closing down the Star Trek Experience in September so I get to go one last time!
